Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
This is your chance to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday with savings of up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with apps-based no-go zones. its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.
1. iRobot Roomba j7+
The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its most significant advancement is an obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste that most other robots can't avoid (and often plough right through). It's also the first to automatically send you a photo of an object it encounters so you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we've ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills quickly leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't sweep in areas you don’t would like. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it using voice.
Its design is also superior to the rest, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy robot rather than a loud, loud one. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt Disposal System also self-empties, which will reduce your cleaning time.
In our tests, we found that the j7+ swiftly removed dust, dirt, and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in one location rather than sending it scattering all over the floor. It even could capture sand and small gravel which other robots couldn't do. It did all without getting caught up in our pet's hair.
The j7+, although not as intelligent as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and isn't able to clean the stairs, is still a good option for those who require both mopping and vacuum. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take some time to download updates, and often it's difficult to tell if the update is actually working until you've seen it in the action.
2. Roborock Q5+
When you're looking for a vacuum that does more than just clean floors, the best option is probably a hybrid. This category of bots typically comes with a built-in tank for water, meaning they can both mop and vacuum your home at the same time. These bots also come with a variety of extra features, including smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. The downside is that they can be expensive when purchased at full retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.
Roborock has some of our top robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. This is the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it might not include some of the luxurious features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent option for those who are willing to compromise to save a few bucks.
The Q5+ is notably soft around obstacles like wall legs and table legs and walls, which makes it an excellent choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a area where many robot vacuums that are less expensive fall short. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent and has very few missed corners and along walls.
Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled using a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map or re-label rooms.
If you opt for the Q5+ it includes a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it's in place the process of emptying the bin is simple. It comes with a huge LCD screen, which is useful for setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This feature isn't necessary for most people but it can help you easily keep the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. best automatic vacuum cleaner is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively smart in both its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and functionality are some of the most advanced available however, it's also expensive.
It's a small base station that looks stunning and is easily hidden when not in use. The station's main selling point is that it automates many tasks, functions and chores that other robots have to leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's one of the few robot vacuums I've tested that does an excellent job of picking up debris on bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.
But the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robot vacuums. This means it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms in the home. It also can't climb stairs as well as other competitors and doesn't come with a dock to create a clean zone for carpets with plush padding.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need a robot vacuum that does everything.
If you're looking to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options on the market. A lot of eufy models are substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance, is cheaper and offers an identical experience on the app with more features, including stairs, a fully-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.
4. Eufy RoboVac G30
eufy is an Anker company that has a history of producing robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors as well as mopping functions as well as carpets at an affordable price point. It's easy to set up, just snap one of the side brushes on, switch it on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock will need to be placed near an outlet with plenty of room to move.
The G30 is a compact device that measures 2.85 inches in height, which means it can fit under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is less flashy than some of the rival models, and features a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which cleans the area in a spiral pattern for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.
good robot vacuum that the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from other models. It uses an integrated map to draw an image of the unmovable items in its path. It remembers the items it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. If it requires a recharge, it automatically returns to its base and resumes cleaning where it left off.
The eufy G30 isn't without its faults, though. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower cost of operation. It is faster to charge, has the same battery life and performs better on unfinished carpet or floors with low pile. It has a larger dust bin, which does not require the same amount of emptying. It also comes with boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 on the other hand is less expensive and is much simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and is less prone to suffocating heavy materials like cereal.
